Microsoft Office 2010 to be released on May 12 for Business, June for consumers
Microsoft announced that they will be releasing Microsoft Office 2010 to manufacturing in April 2010 and will be available for business by May 12. However, it will be available for consumers by June 15, 2010. Microsoft also revealed that consumers who buy Microsoft Office 2007 or a new PC with Microsoft Office 2007 by March 5, 2010 to September 30, 2010 will get a free upgrade to Microsoft Office 2010. They will be able to download Microsoft Office 2010 at no additional cost when Microsoft Office 2010 will be released in June 2010.
