A plugin specially made for Winamp lovers. Minitube is a plugin that adds Youtube videos to music but it only works with Winamp for now. MiniTube will find and stream the music video of your “now playing” mp3 track inside winamp by looking it up on YouTube, Google Video, etc. It’s your very own personal VH1 that plays music videos from your own Winamp’s mp3 playlist.

Microsoft to offer Free Security by June 2009

Microsoft announced today that it will offer free anti-virus and security solution for the second half of 2009. It will stop selling OneCare software by the end of june 2009 and will introduce a new software, code-named Morro which will be good for smaller and less powerful computers. The software will be free and will work on machines running XP, VIsta and Windows 7.

In a statement, Microsoft said that “Morro would be designed specifically to be a small-footprint program that uses fewer system resources. This, it said, would be ideal for users with low-bandwidth connections or computers without much processing power”.

I’m not really sure if it’s going to be as good as other anti-viruses but let’s just wait and hope for the best. Usually free software usually don’t provide that protection which other anti-virus like Kaspersky do. So lets see what happens when Microsoft release there software.

Watch Youtube Videos in 720p Resolution

I remember i wrote a post on How to Watch Youtube videos in High Quality but now there is a trick which enable you to watch the video in 720p widescreen video clips. Its a really simple trick that works with those videos which are uploaded in good quality. Usually by using &fmt=6 or &fmt=18 at the end of the url let you view High Quality video resoulution but instead of that now add &fmt=22 to watch the video in 720 screen resolution.

Veoh is an Internet Television service allowing users to find and watch major studio content, independent productions and user-generated material. Lately, Veoh Networks announced portable Video Web Player which is only available for sandisk usb drives which allows users to browse, search and enjoy millions of videos on veoh.com including Tv shows, Movies, Music vdeos and popular independantly produced content.

According to the release, “When permitted by the publisher, users can schedule downloads of videos to their library to watch later or at another location. U3 Smart technology, which was developed by SanDisk, allows applications to run from a SanDisk Cruzer USB flash drive, without having to be installed on a computer.”

Microsft Online Store Launched

Microsoft has launched its first online store where you can buy all Microsoft products. It has all the microsoft products including Windows, Office, Xbox games, Microsoft Zune, webcams, Windows Live Care and microsoft hardware such as mouse and keyboards etc and many more products. The store also features immediate software download feature which you can do after you buy the software.

The only problem with Microsoft store is that its only available to residents of a few countries including UK, Usa, Germany and Korea but this will be expanded to other countries as well throughout the year by Brandon LeBlanc from The Windows Blog.
