Yahoo! Messenger for Vista version is no longer available

They have discontinued the releases of the Yahoo! Messenger for Vista application.  They say this will help them increase efficiencies on their team and deliver one consistent, full-featured product for all the Windows users.

“We realize many of you have been with us from the first launch of Yahoo! Messenger for Vista and we want to thank you for trying it and providing great feedback with each new release.

If you’re using Yahoo! Messenger for Vista, you can continue to use it however we will not add any more features or provide product support. To enjoy full Yahoo! Messenger functionality including photo sharing, webcam and chat rooms, we recommend downloading and installing the latest version of Yahoo! Messenger 9.0, which also works on Windows Vista:”

Toshiba Introduces their new R600 ultra portable notebook

It is the ultra portable notebook which includes Intel Core 2 Duo ULV processor. It has a built-in 7mm DVD-SuperMulti drive along with extended life battery which is about 9 hours!

The Portege R600 may be the world’s lightest, fully featured laptop. R600 features WiFi 802.11a/g/n, Bluetooth, a 0.3 Megapixel camera, and a SD card slot.

Youtube Upgraded Upload 10 Videos Simultaneously

Great news for Youtube lovers. You will be all very glad to know that Youtube has recently enhanced the video uploader capability that allows their users to upload 10 videos simultaneously with 1 GB per file.

New release offers

    • You can enter in your video’s metadata  while the upload is processing.
    • Upload multiple files at once, without downloading any plugin
    • The file-size limit for uploads has been raised from 100MB to
      1GB.

      The new version is still in beta testing. Some of the users had been selected by Youtube to try out the services for now. For those of you who want to get their hands on it right away login to your Youtube account and click here to get started.
