In past, we covered few excellent tools which can help you take high quality screenshots like Snagit, Zoom.IT etc. Today, we came across an excellent extension for Google Chrome which can make your life easier when it comes to taking screenshots and editing them. Awesome Screenshot is an excellent Google Chrome extension which can help you Capture the whole page or any portion, annotate it with rectangles, circles, arrows, lines and text, blur sensitive info, one-click upload to share.
Using the extensions is really easy and straight forward. First of all, download and install the extension.
Once the extension is installed, a small camera icon will appear right next to the address bar in Google chrome.
After you click on the icon, it will show you 3 options: Capture Visible Part of Page, Capture Selected Area or Capture the entire Page.
Once you select any option, it will take you to the edit mode where you can select the area you want to capture. Select the area and click on Capture button.
It will open a new window with the image editor where you can add different shapes, annotations or crop certain part of the image. After you are done with editing, click on Done.
Now, you can save or upload the image and share It on different social networks.

You can also email the image to any friend using the options given.
You can even set shortcut keys to take screenshots by going to Awesome Screenshot Options. Click on the checkbox and define the shortcut you would like to use and click Save.
