After the release of iPhone 4 with its stylish looking iOS 4, there has been a foray of jailbreaking and unlocking tools being released by different iPhone hackers all around the globe. Not much time passes after the release of a jailbreak/unlock tool for iOS 4 that news about the advent of another jailbreak tool are spread all over the internet.
The latest news comes about Geohot, arguably the father of jailbreaking and unlocking the iPhone. Word has just reached us that Geohot has just released one of the teaser images on the web which mocks the iPhone 4 users with Cydia running over a jailbroken iPhone 4. Although no release date as yet been announced for the release of this jailbreak tool for the iPhone 4, it is expected that it will be out after the release of the update to iOS 4 which was announced by Apple earlier. This is probably been done to carter for any critical changes which iOS 4 update might bring with it. Geohot has again laid the importance of not asking when the tool’s going to be out and promised the iPhone 4 users that he will release it as soon as the tool is ready for use by the average Joe. Another clarification made by Geohot in regard to the name of the tool was that the tool will not be named limera1n or pwned4life. He observed that these names were just given by users of the software randomly and that he never gives an official name to his jailbreaking and unlocking tools for the iPhone and the iPod Touch.
