There are many tools which can users do basic/advanced photo editing. But the problem is most of them are not free. You have to pay in order to use the full, licensed version of the software and many people can’t afford to spend on expensive software which they will use only to perform simple photo editing.
We have found a tool, Aviary, which allows you do your designing tasks online. And the best thing about it is that you do not have to install any software. Just open the site and you can use the tools for free.
Aviary is a suite of powerful creative applications that you can use right in your web browser. It has different graphic designing tools such as Image Editor, Image Markup, Effects Editor, Myna , Vector Editor and Swatch Editor.
In order to use Aviary, you have to sign up and make an account so that you can save and manage your files online. The registration process is very simple and easy. Just open Aviary and click on Sign Up on the top right corner.
You can either make a new account or login using existing Facebook, Gmail, Twitter or Yahoo account. So if you don’t want to create a new account, just use your existing Google or Yahoo account.
After you login with any of your existing account, it will ask you to chose a username.
Now it will take you to the Dashboard of you Aviary account where you can see the list of available graphic designing tools. Now, let’s take a look at different Aviary designing tools.
1. Image Editor (Phoenix): Aviary Image Editor allows you perform from basic photo retouching to all complex effects. It delivers the key features of a desktop image editor with the simplicity and accessibility of a web-based application. Some features of Phoenix include Rich image editing tools, layers support and filters. You can even import photos from popular photo sharing websites like Facebook, Picasa and Flick.
2. Image Markup: Image Markup allows you to quickly capture images and web pages from your browser and crop, resize or mark them up.
