Internet Explorer 8 becomes the World’s most used Browser
Internet Explorer 8 has finally became the world’s most used browser followed by Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. According to the latest statistics reported by NetMarketShare, almost 62% of world’s internet users use Internet Explorer. The statistics show that Internet Explorer has control of almost 62% of the browser market share. Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome come on second and third place with 24% and 5.22% respectively. Other browsers like Opera, Safari and Flock have minor market share of around 3%. The fact is that not only Windows users use Internet Explorer but also users running other operating systems such as Mac OS X and Linux.

Netmarketshare report also states that almost 25% of other operating systems users use Internet Explorer as there default browser rather then Firefox or Chrome. The reason why Internet Explorer is used is because many browsers does not open certain sites properly or you have to install some plugins to view it properly which many people hesitate to install.
