Jailbreak iPhone 3G and 3GS 3.1.3 with Ultrasnow 0.92
In past we have covered an article about jailbreaking iPhone firmware 3.1.3 with Redsnow 0.9.4. We know that Redsnow 0.9.4 can jailbreak iPhone 3G and 3GS but cannot unlock it to the latest baseband. But new version of Snowbreeze 3.1.3 can jailbreak iPhone 2G, 3G and 3GS with old boot rom and also preserves the iPhone baseband. To jailbreak your iPhone using Sn0wbreeze, follow the simple guide published here. After you have jailbroken your iPhone using Snowbreeze, you can use the current version of Ultrasnow 0.92 to unlock iPhone 3.1.3 firmware as it is compatible to work with the respective older baseband versions.
Just follow the simple guide to unlock your iPhone:
1. Jailbreak your iPhone 2G, 3G and 3Gs using the guide here.
2. After jailbreaking your iPhone, Start Cydia and touch Sources under the Manage tab.
3. After that, touch Edit and Add, http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com” and touch on “Add Source”.
4. Now, find ultrasnow and install it. It will automatically unlock your iPhone.
5. Restart your iPhone and you are done.
