Greasemonkey Script Extension Now Available for Google Chrome

According to Wikipedia, “Greasemonkey allows users to install scripts that make on-the-fly changes to HTML web page content on the DOMContentLoaded event, which happens immediately after it is loaded in the browser.” Google Chrome 4 introduced support for Extension just like Mozilla Firefox and the much awaited extension, Greasemonkey, has been released for Chrome as well with a massive library of almost 40,000 scripts.

According to Greasemonkey script creator, Aaron Boodman, who has recently been hired in Google Chrome extensions team, mentioned that almost 15%-25% of the scripts will not work for Chrome for now. By capturing almost 6% of the browser market, it looks like Chrome can be a good alternative for Mozilla Firefox and users may shift from other browsers to Chrome because of this new extensions feature.

All you have to do is install Greasemonkey and browse through the userscripts library to look for the script that you want and install it.
