Find Best WiFi networks with WeFi

WiFi provides us with a greatly convenient way to connect to the internet. Without the need of any wires, WiFi can be used in the same sense that cellphones can. As we carry our cellphone wherever we go, we can carry our laptop (or any WiFi enabled device) wherever we go and connect to the internet. However the problem that it faced by cellphone users is the same one that WiFi users face: the uncertainty that whether or not a place will have WiFi reception.

An iPhone user would like to know which areas around him are currently receiving strong WiFi signals. That way if he is unable to connect his iPhone to the internet, he can simply move to the closest area with WiFi signals and use the net.

Determining the WiFi-strong areas cannot be done without outside help. We need an application that helps us find the best spot and network to connect our device with. And that application is WeFi.

WeFi is a freeware application compatible with Windows, Mac, and various cellphone operating systems (including Android). Here is how the application looks like while running:

(*The system on which we ran the application did not have a WiFi adapter installed.)

WeFi finds the nearby WiFi networks and according to our specified settings, automatically connects to the best one (the one with the clearest reception). WeFi uses the sharing power of the community to automatically connect users to Free Wi-Fi around the world. WeFi also offers registration for its users; the more users connecting, the easier it is for all to find and enjoy fast, reliable, and free Wi-Fi.

WeFi can tremendously help out WiFi internet users; if you are a WiFi user, then this is one application you cannot afford to overlook.
