As Bloggers, we are really concerned about our website and we dont our website to go down for even a second. But sometimes, downtimes occur and we cannot do anything. There are several website monitoring tools but if you want to monitor your website directly from your dekstop, then URL Guard is the right software for you.

Its a small tool that resides in system tray and guards url of your production web site. In regular interval pings all defined urls and show alert if web sites are not available.
