Google Android 1.5 Promises Better Performance
Google is all set to launch the latest edition of Android version 1.5. The new update will have support for video recording and Bluetooth Stereo. Android 1.5 promises better performance for GPS navigation and Camera quality.
Other noticeable improvements will include faster camera start up, image capture and faster acquisition of GPS location, In addition to that it will let you browse pages much faster along with speedier Gmail conversation list scrolling.
Beside all the imrpovements there will be a new feature known as On-screen keyboard which
- Works in both portrait and landscape orientation
- Support for user installation of 3rd party keyboards
- User dictionary for custom words
Google also confirms that the new Android 1.5 will have the option to target different Android platform version from within a single SDK installation. Furthermore, it will find improvements to install Android SDK add-ons to access extended functionality that might be provided by OEMs, carriers, or other providers.
