Download Wikipedia Articles on Mobile Phones

      Stumble it!

I have just stumbled upon a new mobile software that allows you to search and read Wikipedia articles without having an internet connection. Wikipock is a mobile phone software that lets you store 2.4 million Wikipedia articles in your mobile phone so that you don’t need to download anything from the internet.

There are preloaded microSD memory cards available with this service as well. The software cost $9.99 and it works on Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, iPhone, iPod touch and Android smart phones. Currently it supports a few languages including English, German, French, Polish, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.

Wikipock software for iPhone, iPod touch and Android phones will be released soon. For now you can search and read Wikipedia articles on your Windows Mobile phone and Blackberry.
