Last night I upgraded my Firefox from version 2 to 3. I know its quiet late but some of the add-ons were not working properly with the new Firefox. Since all the companies have released new versions of their add-ons for Firefox 3 I decided to upgrade it.

Now when I tried deleting my history before leaving the PC. I couldn’t find out how I’ do it. In Firefox 2 you simply click

History > Show in sidebar > Delete any link or history for the whole day or any day for that matter.

Things are a little different in Firefox 3 and for those of you who haven’t figured out how to delete their browser history

  • Click Tools
  • Click Clear Private Data
  • Uncheck everything but “Browsing History”

When done click “Clear Private data now”

It bugs me a bit when I can’t use the right click in the “History” drop down menu.

To set options for your browser history

  • Click Tools
  • Click OPTIONS
  • Click PRIVACY

Here you can choose from the given 2 options

Always clear my private data when i close Firefox

or

Ask me Before clearing private data.

You can always delete any specific link you want as well. Simply press Ctrl + H > Right click the link and click delete

Simple isn’t it?
