OpenOffice.org 3.0 Release Candidate 2 Download

OpenOffice.org is a free open source cross-platform office application suite which is available in a number of different operating systems. The new 3.0 Release Candidate 2 is out but its not recommended for production deployment at this stage since there are no guarantees. You can always use the most recent stable version. 3.0 release works with

  • Microsoft Windows
  • Solaris: SPARC platform edition
  • Solaris: x86 platform edition
  • GNU/Linux (“Linux”)
  • Mac OS X (X11)

The minimum JRE version required to use full OpenOffice.org functionality that require JAVA is JRE version 1.5.x. You can download 3.0 Release Candidate 2 now
