Hp’s Latest Desktop TouchSmart IQ800 Series

Hewlett Packard has released its latest desktop TouchSmart IQ800 series. It includes a 25.5 inch touch screen display and 1920 X 1200 screen resolutions. It’s not just a big screen Iq800 series also offers Blu-ray combo drive, TV Tuners, built in webcam, HP Pocket Media drive bay and much more. TouchSmart IQ800 series have made it nearly to the home theater.

Currently there are 2 models for this series which are IQ804 and IQ816. IQ804 has a higher-clocked 2.16GHz T5850 Core 2 Duo on a 667MHz bus with 2MB of cache while the IQ816 has a 2.10GHz T8100 Core 2 Duo on a 800MHz bus with a 3MB cache. Both of the models support Wi-Fi over 802.11n.

IQ804 is available for $1,899 and
IQ816 is expected to hit the market on October 12 for $2099.

    Man that looks ugly. HP must’ve cut corners by not hiring a qualified industrial designer. Wonder what other corners they cut.
