Vixy sucks hardcore. It only actually converts stuff for you 1/5 of the time and takes FOREVER.
Vixy is actually very fast. Download the little program shit they have on the front page instead of using the site. The site DOES take forever and mostly doesn’t work. But the program is great and tiny.

You might want to try http://mediaconverter.org/ as well. Although it is limited (10 per day I think), you get quite a lot of options such as changing the codec and the resolution (useful if you want to view on your iPod). You’ve also go a nice choice of output formats (http://youconvertit.com/ does the job if you need formats, though it’s not specially fast).
what about the Media Converter???? its the best and vixy sucks its doing a hell of alot problems…
