Mininova has always been my favorite when it comes to Torrent downloads. Recently they have introduced a few new awesome features that includes Remote Downloading and Bookmarking. As described on Mininova Blog it’s really simple to bookmark your favorite torrents.

Bookmarking

After logging in simply click ““Add to bookmarks” button and the selected torrent will be added to the list of bookmarked torrents available at “My bookmarks“.

Remote Downloading

This is the best feature so far they have released. In most BitTorrent clients you are able to poll an RSS feed. Go to the “My bookmarks” page and copy your “personal feed” URL. In uTorrent, click the “RSS Downloader” button and add the feed URL from your clipboard.

Once you do that, go to “Favorites”, add a new filter and enter “*” as “Filter” and choose a download folder at “Save in”.

So like if you’re not home and you come across something you really want to download all you need to do it login to your account click “Add to bookmarks” button to add the torrent. Now, when the torrent is added to your bookmarks and personal feed, and within a few minutes your BitTorrent client at home will refresh the feed and notice the new torrent. Your client will then start downloading the torrent in the background, so when you come home you can watch/listen to whatever you have downloaded from a remote location. How COOL is that!
